The heart comes from a mid 1800s French document, its script softened by time. The decorative cuff is fashioned from original stationery from the Grand Hotel Lion dArgent in Charleville, France, dated 1921 paper that once belonged to grand arrivals, handwritten letters, and candlelit rooms.
