This beautiful vinaigrette having fine engine turned decoration on all sides, with a shield shaped cartouche to the lid and an engraved floral clasp to the front. The silver gilt interior having a pierced and engraved hinged cover which would have received a sponge with aromatic scent to smell, rather than the foul smell of the city! Both the
