2021 Tomas Postigo '5 Ano' Tinto Ribera del Duero, Spain Chateau Cormeil Figeac with peachy notes and someCherry red colour with deep maroon rims. Loads of red fruit (cherry, raspberry). As wine opens it shows licorice, balsamic notes. The fine wood lends wine spicy , slight earthy and bush notes with floral hints. Lots of fruit and spice, earthy and balsamic notes. A nervous wine with powerful tannins and pretty pleasant acidity on the palate. Spicy aftertaste with loads of fruit. Harmonious.
