Agave Bareback Rider 10b being composed of golden leavesAgave 'Bareback Rider' is a 2024 Plant Delights JLBG introduction that started its life here as a single streak on our garden clump of Agave 'Crazy Horse', a purported hybrid of Agave cupreata x asperrima. After many years, we were finally able to isolate the streak into a wide, central white pattern. Despite the large amount of white, it has good vigor, forming a stunning potted specimen in regions where it isn't winter hardy.
