This field blend white comes off a historic, dry farmed parcel one mile from the Sonoma town plazaplanted in 1954 on fluffy white volcanic ash at the base of Mount Veeder and long known as Heinstein (also Compagni Portis; today Farmer Family Vineyard). The interplanted vinesSylvaner, Riesling, Green Hungarian, and Gewrztraminerare picked together for a true mixed vineyard
