Small Opalised Ammonite tumblestone The Witch of the Forest’sA natural iridescent opalised ammonite half from Tulear, Madagascar. Cut side is polished, back side is opalised. Ammonite were sea creatures from the jurassic and cretaceous periods, related to the modern day squid and octopus. The part we see today is the fossilised shell.
