Description
which sounds extreme but bear in mind this is the cooler section of the plateau back towards the border with Castillon and these soils take longer to fully ripen their grapes
Best after 2008
There is excellent richness to the concentrated and unusually powerful broad-scaled flavors that possess plenty of dry extract that saturates the palate on the wonderfully intense and solidly firm finish
This should be a classic Latour Corton-Charlemagne in time
with a herbal note that is akin to the eucalypt of Coonawarra or Margaret River
Fratelli Alessandria, Barolo Vintage:2015 which sounds extreme but bearFratelli Alessandria's 2015 Barolo makes for a very fine introduction to the vintage at this address. Macerated dark cherry, leather, cedar, tobacco and spice give the 2015 lovely shades of nuance. Best of all, the 2015 will drink well right out of the gate. This is such a pretty and expressive md weight Barolo that really hits all the right notes for a wine in its peer group. Another year or two in bottle will only help the tannins soften. Antonio
