Large, Very Beautiful Antique Carved Wood and Cork Fishing Float vintage toy soldier Each measures 4 7/8” tallI'm a sucker for beautiful fishing floats, which I find super satisfying objects, in terms of both painted surface and form (plus they're easy to hang!) and this is among the most beautiful I've seen. Wonderfully (and to my eye very lovingly) painted yellow bands over the red on the stem at both ends as well as on the cork body of the float, and then this beautifully carved ring bead near the end, red with a yellow stripes around the perimeter.
