Lovely Vintage Studio Pottery Weed Vase in Mottled Blue-Purple Glaze early miniature and though made of wood

and though made of wood one really wants to snuggle him

but it is this larger one with perfectly scratched and dinged up surface and "CHIPS" hand-painted in red that made me buy these

7 7/8" t x 4" w x 3 7/8" w

and by the end of the 19th century the magic lantern was overtaken by the cinematograph

And what a pretty and serene one this is, almost perfectly round, feeling like a gulp of sky. In excellent condition, a sort of soft blue purple, with some mottling to the glaze and a bit of variation on one side.
