this is youthful

This extremely promising and stylish effort will need to develop better depth to merit the upper end of my projected range but if it does this could be brilliant

This too may lengthen out but today it seems a bit clipped and compact

though it remains a class act

Giovanni Rosso, Barolo Serra Vintage:2010 Made from 90% Sauvignon BlancRossos 2006 Barolo La Serra shows more density and freshness than the Serralunga, along with high toned flowers, spices, mint and berries that flow from its focused, mid weight frame. Firm, chewy tannins round out this strong effort from proprietor Davide Rosso. Anticipated maturity, 2014 2026. This is a beautiful set of 2006 Baroli from Davide Rosso, a young grower who continues to demonstrate significant promise.
