The result is a very monkey-like monkey with about as empathetic face as I can image

presumed mid- to late-19th century

a labor union formed in 1915 to serve the interests of workers in the printing trade

both wound with yellow and white yarn-- with the post standing on four arched feet

Sweet Old Folk Art Hanging Mailbox with Three Leaf Clover Window phials Just a lovely smallish paintingI had this one in my hands for a few minutes several years ago before selling it; happily the buyer, who has changed his collecting focus since, offered it back to me and I must say when I unpacked it I fell in love with it again and found it even better than I remembered! Honest construction, clean lines, good age, quite useful, but what really makes it for me is the clover club shaped cutout, backed with glass which makes it feel a bit like a bee
