filled front to back with striking cut paper works
Figure himself and existing box are in very good shape
I found this and a second watercolor of the same family together
Completely Luminous c. 1920s-30s Oil on Wood Panel, F. Norton Genser man with hat which I believe it wasNo filter, as they say the sky here just glows, though there is a greater delicacy to the color, and nuance to the painting as a whole in person (there's a special quality to an oil painting on wood that seems to elude documentation). I found at an antiques shop in Maine I spotted it from a distance and it drew me like a magnet and surely that is where it was painted, c. 1920s 30s I believe. Signed by F.
