just amazed by the fineness of their incised decoration

Overall: 8 1/8" t x 5 1/4" d x 2 11/16" w

making me think that whoever made it was perhaps just using whatever they had on hand

but otherwise this piece is in very good condition with a great patina

Each domino measures 2" x 1" x 7/16"

(22) Old Cast Iron Found Object 1827 just amazed by the finenessI have no idea what this was once attached to; it doesn't seem deep enough to have been a handle or pull perhaps it was a salesman sample of sort, number 22 of who knows how many? Whatever the case, it's a perfect found object to me, with the No (as in No. 22) next to the RELIEF reading as No Relief which of course often seems to be the case these days on numerous sorts of levels! (At the same time one might read it Relief in its 22nd form, and as I
