SOLD Religion is the Daughter of H<a>even [sic], Early Penmanship Exercise with Charming Mistakes and Corrections naive painting That sealed the deal sinceSurely done as a penmanship exercise, c. mid 19th c, I was of course drawn to this formally, for the beautifully inked lettering, and also for the rather curious (and arguably contentious) phrase "Religion is the Daughter of Heaven." But I really fell in love with it as I started to started to notice its misspellings, corrections, and the curious choice of placing greatest emphasis on the word THE! A double "is" under religion, as it seems the first
