These are from a larger group of 19th c. graphite drawings I found yesterday at a show in New Hampshire, which I've divided into sets so many fabulous little animals and here one person too! I really love the face on the cat holding her fan, and the proud stoicism of the horse, and especially this pair of eagles protecting their eaglets in the nest! Cat
