some minor spots and just a little fading/toning to the blue paper around the turning end

There is a bit of stain along far right edge and top right corner of drawing

I might guess this was painted and cut out in anticipation of mounting in an early scrap book, maybe with a few cutout figures to be positioned as its inhabitants. Or maybe it was intended as the backdrop for a never ending parade of finely dressed handmade paper dolls! I'm not certain, but one can certainly imagine lives unfolding amid this delight of a stage set. Details give a sense of how wonderfully done, right down to this
