which seem almost as if they could be lead plates to add weight

F.P's Kraft American Cheese Crate Wood Carved Red Heart 1930s wood cut Two little metal stands popI loved finding this very sweet hand carved heart plaque, and then turning it over to see that it was made from the wood of a Kraft American Cheese crate. It seems as though the wood was quite deliberately chosen, with logo perfectly framed, so I have to think the heart was inspired by a love of processed cheese, or perhaps a token of appreciation for the provider of such!
