Five Beautiful Fat Yellow Vintage Grossman’s Lumber Pencils hintha just a bit of irregularityI found these together in a ziplock bag, and found them so beautiful laid straight side by side I could not resist them. I find pencils generally beautiful things, but these big fat yellow ones all the more so. Grossmans was once a fixture on the South Shore of Boston, so they carry nostalgia for a pre Home Depot era too. (The company was started in the 1910s by Louis Grossman and had expanded to 35 stores in New England states by the 1960s, helping
