Description
Giuseppe Quintarelli's namesake 2008 Rosso del Bepi (made well before this legendary figure would pass away in 2012) is made in the so-called average vintages when Amarone is not produced
the tannins are refined and fine-grained
Somewhat curiously given that most of this is from Vaudésir
with a chalky sensation and a finish that is a mixture of juiciness
The wine is medium bodied
Joblot, Givry Clos Cellier Moines other_regions_italy Giuseppe Quintarelli's namesake 2008 RossoA slightly riper but not roasted or jammy nose offers up notes of plum, cassis, dark cherry, spice and a dollop of wood. The exceptionally rich bigger bodied flavors brim with sappy dry extract before concluding in a rustic, very firm and serious finish. Patience is strongly recommended as this is borderline old school in demeanor. (91 93) 2031+
