It was made in two panels
and became know for hyper realistic metal point work
but I am pretty certain they are French
I'd guess 1960s or so
AND + ALSO Old Cast Metal Marquee Signage spellicans Otherwise good conditionWhen I found these, I immediately thought they'd be right hung in the dining room, where they would feel like insertions into lively conversation. (If I could have one more, it would say "but"!) Dating to the 1930s I believe, and ,made by Wagner Sign Service inc., Chicago, they would have been used on an old theatre marquee, in conjunction with individual letters spelling out the names of movies or performers.
