The old black painted wood frame shows some dings

thick cardboard with really nice black backs

Definitely worthy of  framing and hanging

I bought it at a sale that included lots of Scandinavian modern

So good, and so soulful looking, and equally great on the reverse side, just enough different to make it tough to decide which side is better. Terrific old painted surface, with some alligatoring here and there, and with a steel post attached to one front leg should one want to stand him outside the front door for a bit to keep an eye on things! To my eye, just perfect. Dog himself measures 11" l x 13 1 2" tall measured straight down
