This snuff box I believe dates to the 1820s or so

with some tearing along the spine

Two Old Plumb Bobs with Wound String brown and white plate If you don't love himIt is actually the dowel with tip that sold me on this; I love brass and steel plumb bobs or all shapes and sizes, but even more I love the wound string and long point at the end of this wooden dowel, which would allow it to draw a plumb line as well. Useful in the studio or in the tool box for sure, but equally just beautiful things. Steel plumb bob: 4 7 8" l. Dowel: 8 5 8" l. Surface wear as evident but overall good condition.
