Presumed Congolese Folk Art Tempera Painting plastic lacquer which feel more like sculpturesI purchased this and a second watercolor by the same person at Brimfield, then immediately liberated them from old mats and frames upon returning home in order to really see them; they needed to see the light of day and the colors in this one are especially fantastic. (All they need now is to float against white in a very simple, clean, white or black frame.) The other is signed, twice Tshi Mua and Tshibanda Muayabu, I believe most likely Congolese,
