My favorite Brimfield find for sure, and definitely one of my top finds ever and how wonderful that they have remained a couple over all of these many years. With their flat backs it seems quite possible they once decorated something else, but I'm not certain; I do believe 19th century American, and I think most likely New England or Pennsylvania.
