Robert Ingles's Unexpectedly Excellent Ink / Ink Wash Student Drawing on Board, 1955 1940s pottery I believe this clever hand-shapedMy camera is picking up some undertones and making this look a bit pink it is not; the first photo comes closest to correct, but in hand the grays and blacks are richer and the board a nice light cream. Anyway I just love these two, eyes closed and completely wrapped up in each other in a way that manages to feel earnest in the best of ways young love! With especially nice attention to their hairlines, and to her fingernails too. And the shape of
