There is outstanding delineation and intensity to the refined and pure medium-bodied flavors that are shaped by deceptively pliant tannins on the saline-inflected finish that seems to be constructed from liquid stone

The first vintage is the 2015 Les Aubaguetes

smoke and tobacco give the Duemani its distinctive aromatic signatures

Oak however is a little distracting on this vintage

Crystalline and lean on the palate and with enormous length, this is a pure and refined, vegetal flavored dry Riesling with remarkable finesse and tension. More classic maybe than the richer van Volxem. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August 2021.
