Bisque fired to 1000 degrees when dry, signed, waxed and coated in a glossy transparent glaze. The piece is then placed back in the kiln for its 1230 degree centigrade glaze firing. A transfer of Paige's sketchbook drawings are then cut and individually placed onto the piece and smoothed into place. The piece is then put back into the kiln for its third and final firing. Not
