I'm not entirely sure

with this terrific array of unusual geometric forms dangling from every other link of the chain

with some wear to the paint on the papier mache head (a chip on his nose and another on the back of the head)

Rare and Excellent c. 1930 ARCADE Ice Pick daguerreotype The puppet is made ofA little research led me to learn that this is quite a seldom seen and highly prized ice pick, dating to 1930 or so. I grabbed it because I love an ice pick as a thing in general (personally I'd say goodbye to ice cube trays altogether in favor of old school ice blocks), and because of the excellent weight and size of this one, and, most of all, because of the raised ARCADE on it's cast iron, hexagon shaped handle (just the right shape to really get a
