This set of handmade dominoes feels very much aligned in spirit with the perpetual calendar I just listed--full of the presence of the Charles Farr who carved them "from the shin bone of an ox
just a small hole at the center of the bottom edge
and I do believe she is quite an extraordinary one
making it a nice one to place on a high shelf--which is exactly where I spotted this one and ran straight for it
