This one I purchased from the same seller as the daguerreotype of the drawing of the  child I just listed

I believe likely German made and classifiable as "putz" (composition)

and I think has quite a lovely shape to it

though in all likelihood were made in Hingham MA

and I'm thirsty for a margarita or two

Sweet Antique Ball in Cage with Link Whimsy with Remnants of Gold Paint watercolor and collage This one I purchased fromNot fancy, but just right, and a good old one late 19th very early 20th c. I believe, found in Pennsylvanian, and with some of its old gold paint still hanging on in spots subtle, but visible up close. Stands on its own, with its one link dangling, and a very nice feel to it.
