1874 Oyster Painted Treen Egg Bank finch Just a cheap metallic frame--whichI'd guess this coin bank was made as a gift to celebrate the birth of the year 1874, but I suppose it could have been made for Easter, perhaps with the 1874 scratched into the paint as a sort of afterthought. I'm not sure but what's better than an egg to hold every possibility?! In beautiful old paint as rich in color as a fresh laid farm egg. I love this, and equally from both sides. 4 7 8" l x 2 3 4" w x 3 1 8" t. Good coverall condition, with holes
