Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey Wehrmacht eagle with feathering and details highlighted in black threading, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), a quintessential privately purchased example favoured by some Wehrmacht personnel over standard issue eagles in extremely fine condition.
