Constructed of a gilded bronze alloy, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of a motorway cutting through an alpine scene, topped by a NSKK insignia set within an inscription of MOTORBRIG. HOCHLAND, circumscribed by a depressed inscription of NACHT ORIENTIERUNGSFAHRT HOCHLAND 1937 (NIGHT ORIENTATION DRIVE HOCHLAND 1937), the reverse maker marked KLOTZ & KIENAST, MNCHEN, measuring 60 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), accompanied by its
