A well preserved Garde du Corps gorget, constructed of a polished brass with a gilt finish, the obverse bearing a silvered applique featuring a central crowned monogram of King Friedrich, flanked by standard flags and above a stylized wreath featuring a central monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, the reverse with four visible rivets securing the applique in place, with a central upward pointing stabilizer
