Constructed of glazed white porcelain, the exterior featuring a tinted facsimile portrait of Generalfeldmarschall Paul von Hindenburg, situated within a hand applied gilded laurel wreath, in turn surrounded by laurel and oak leaf branches of identical application, with gilded tresses surrounding the upper and lower edges, featuring a protruding handle with a thumbpiece sitting above the rim and with a pebbled exterior
