The human eardrum illustrator Ambroise ParÚ (cPlate 3 figures 1 2 from the paper 'On the difference of structure between the human Membrana Tympani and that of the elephant', by Sir Everard Home, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol. 113 (1823), pp. 23 26. Figure 1 shows the eardrum at natural size; figure 2 under magnification. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Inscribed verso: 'Lecture 9 Pl. I. ' Signed in ink lower left 'W. Clift.'
