Germany, Heer. A Hochgebirgs-Jäger-Bataillon 2 Traditions Badge consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac marked on the reverse WRS(Heer Hochgebirgs Jger Bataillon 2 Mtzenabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a Heer Gebirgsjger in full field kit and carrying a pair of skis, affixed with its pinback to a field grey wool cloth base, with additional hand stitching for stability, unmarked, the badge meaning 35 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), a traditions badge previously found on Hochgebirgs Jger Bataillon 2 uniforms and headgear, in better than very fine
