Miyamoto Musashi Tee George Washington or excusesMiyamoto Musashi (), born in 1584, was christened as a natural warrior at the remarkable age of 13 when he killed an older Samurai, beating him with a six foot wooden staff until he died vomiting blood. In 1600, he found himself on the losing side of the Battle of Sekigahara. Musashi fought bravely and with his skill survived the battle and the ensuing massacre of his clan. The aftermath of the battle left Musashi in the position of being a rnin () or
