Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, with a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42. 15 mm (w) x 52. 86 mm (h), weighing 30. 1 grams, with most of the silver finish lost, in overall better than very fine
