The exterior is fabricated from black wool, designed with a raised continuous flap that runs around the circumference of the cap that incorporates an embroidered trim along its upper edge. The flap is secured in place via black threading to the side walls of the cap, with a singular large rising peak flanked by smaller rising peaks on either side that form a valley between each of the peaks.
