Constructed of bronzed feinzink, the obverse consisting of a central oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by crossed swords, topped by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika overlaid by a central U Boat, flanked on each side by six oak leaves, the reverse designer marked PEEKHAUS, BERLIN and maker marked SCHWERIN, BERLIN, measuring 76. 73 mm (w) x 24. 12 mm (h), weighing 20. 2 grams,
