Chivas Regal Scotch Ultis (750ml) Island licorice rootThe aroma of this tawny whisky is distinctly fruit forward, packed with apples, pears and peaches, as well as honey and Sherry notes in the background. The palate reads as relatively dry at first, showing leather, cigar wrapper and oak, plus a fleeting dark honey note midpalate that rounds out to a creme brulee sensation. It finishes with clove spiked warmth and a mouthwatering flash of salinity.
