An Unusual Aluminum Self Securing Belt Loop By Schmölle & Co., Menden Auction WWI 1914-15 Star trioAluminum, 21 mm x 64. 5 mm u shaped bracket with die holes at either end, a flap with projecting points affixed on its ends and fitted into the die holes on the bracket, maker marked Schmlle & Co., Menden insignia on the reverse of the flap, one end of the bracket folded over and housing a trapezoid shaped ring, light contact, near extremely fine.
