Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse hollow, with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42. 56 mm (w) x 52. 96 mm (h), weighing 15. 2 grams, demonstrating moderate loss of silver finish
