Germany, Luftwaffe. A Flak Badge, by E. Ferdinand Wiedmann Republic of measuring 49 mm (w) x(Flak Kampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central Flak 88 with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from a circular plate, maker marked with the logo
