A Scarce Serbian Commemorative Medal "1St April 1893" Hold Footnote: The cross was establishedKingdom of Serbia; Medal in gilded silver, 37. 2mm, rim stamped "A" in a circle (indicating Viennese State mint), and signed "A. SCHARFF" under the bust, light contact marks and rim nicks, gilding slightly worn off, in worn condition, overall very fine and scarce. Footnote: instituted on 9 August,1893 by King Alexander, to commemorate the date when he took the power from his father, King Milan I.
