Baden, Grand Duchy. A General Cross For Women To Luise Hofsäfs, C.1900 GTRexclude with scalloped edges(Allgemeines Kreuz fr weibliche Personen). Instituted 1883 by Grand Duchess Luise. (1883 1915 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Latin Cross, the obverse with ribbed arms, the reverse with an etched name of LUISE HOFSFS, the suspension loop with a silver content number of 800, measuring 49. 80 mm (w) x 73. 68 mm (h), weighing 18. 4 grams, in extremely fine condition.
