Poland, Second Republic. An Army Officer’s Sabre Auction Archive Radio Operator: T/SgtA Second Polish Republic Army Officers sabre, measuring 940 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 780 mm long magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and with a fuller running the length of each side. Both the obverse and reverse feature acid etched designers, with the obverse bearing a central cursive inscription of HONOR I OJCZYZNA (HONOUR AND FATHERLAND) set within arabesques, while the reverse bears a central Polish
