Gabis poetic lyrics are imbued with a magical realism; they are sensual, raw and visually expansive, reflecting their love of the poetry of Audre Lorde, Federico Garcia Lorca and Andrea Gibson, and the surrealist art of Remedios Varo, Leonora Carrington and Joan Miro.
