Three First War German Imperial Medals & Awards Auction He was granted leave fromPrussia: Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 (silver frame, with iron core, magnetic, maker marked "LV" (unknown) on the ring, 44 mm); Oldenburg: Friedrich August Cross (blackened iron, magnetic, 39. 5 mm); and Imperial: Hindenburg Cross for Combatants (iron with a bronze coloured gilt, magnetic, maker marked "0. 13" (Orden Herstellergemeinschaft Pforzheim) on the reverse, 37. 8 mm). Un mounted, surface wear evident on the FAC, near extremely fine.
